It's a new and innovative way to advertise on the internet! The website
has 1,000,000 pixels of advertising space designed for businesses in and
around Hutchinson, Kansas.
Who started this board and why?
Ron Williams, the founder of HutchAuctions.com. Ron has been a web
developer for the past 10 years. He's an internet junkie and he wanted
to help local merchants to use the power of the internet to promote
their products and services.
How did he get this idea?
The idea was inspired by the story of Alex Tew and his
MillionDollarHomepage.com. Alex is credited with creating the first
million pixel website. He launched his website last year as a way to pay
for college by selling a million pixels of advertising at $1.00 per
pixel. We charge .10 cents per pixel in order for the ads to be bigger
and more affordable.
How long will the website be online?
The Hutch Pixel Board will remain up and running for the next five years
or longer (at least until December 31, 2010).

sold in 100 pixel blocks (10x10) with a one block minimum ($10.00) up to
remaining blocks.
